Wildlife Encounters at Our Ranch

On your drive along the road to the ranch, you may spot some birds and animals. When you are hiking in the area, pay attention to signs of wildlife, including tracks and animals standing in those tracks. If you are lucky enough to spot a jaguar, please have your camera ready so that you’ll be able to leave behind some interesting action shots for the rest of us to enjoy.

Wildlife is plentiful and includes deer, wild turkeys, raptors, coatimundi, foxes, bobcats, coyotes, javelinas, and the occasional bear and mountain lion. There are venomous snakes in Arizona, even in the high desert, so being aware of your surroundings and wearing long pants made of tough material is recommended.
