Apache Springs Ranch Entrance

Apache Springs Ranch in Sonoita, Arizona, is the home of the Epona International Study Center and equestrian retreat developed by the husband/wife team of author and horse trainer Linda Kohanov and recording artist Steve Roach.

The ranch features a large covered and lighted arena and acres of pasture. The newly completed conference center, cantina and guest quarters is now open for public bookings in 2007-08. This is an idyllic location for equine events, single day meetings, weddings, family gatherings, corporate getaways, team-building events, concerts, individuals and anyone looking for a renewing retreat destination environment.

Apache Springs Ranch

Embraced by expansive views, ridges, canyons and massive cottonwood trees, all of which contribute to a soulful atmosphere, the historic Apache Springs Ranch sits at 5,000 feet.

Horses at Apache Springs Ranch

Originally homesteaded by Tom Gardner in the late 1800s, the beautiful 130-acre property is located at the base of the Santa Rita Mountain Range and just 15 minutes from the crossroads at Sonoita, the heart southern Arizona's wine country.

The original natural spring that provided water for the Apache Indians en route to Tucson still flows today. Surrounded on all sides by Coronado National Forest and located an eighth of a mile from the Arizona Trail, the ranch provides a peaceful, private and serene setting less than an hour from the Tucson airport.
